Call for Board Member Candidates

If you are interested in running for the HOA Board please submit a short bio to beaverspringsranchassoc@gmail.com by Monday, May 2nd. There are three positions open this year, two current members are running again. All those running will be asked to say something to the community at the annual meeting on Tuesday, May 17th.

As mentioned in the President’s Letter, we will conduct voting via Survey Monkey during the month after the annual meeting. This
change is due to requests from community members who wanted to get to know the candidates a bit better before voting.

DNR In Kind Forms

The Board did not receive many DNR In Kind forms in 2021. There is still time to turn them in to DNR, so please send them to the HOA email address as soon as possible. Although we did not receive chipping over the Summer of 2021, residents can still track other fire mitigation methods and yard clean up efforts.

The Board has been trying to get straight answers about being a Fire Wise Community from DNR. It has been difficult to get any communication about this. We hope to have answers by the meeting in May.

Beaver Springs Annual HOA Fees

The annual HOA fee invoice was sent out over the weekend.

The total fee is $300 for the year. You are able to mail in a check or pay online through the Review & Pay button.

All fees are due by March 1st, 2022.

Some residents also received an attachment of old minutes, we are not sure why that happened. Thanks for your understanding!

Stay tuned for the President’s Letter in the near future.

Cool Springs Mutual Water Company Annual Bill

Cool Springs Mutual Water Company Shareholders – A reminder that your yearly invoice for water at your BSR property is due by January 31st.

After the first week of February, a late fee of $25 dollars will be added to your account.

Please send checks to Cool Springs Mutual Water Company, PO Box 571214, Murray, UT 84157-1214

If you have any questions, or have not received your invoice, please contact Nan Kemp at nan.kemp@comcast.net.

4-Wheel Drive Vehicles & Snow Vehicles ONLY

As predicted, Winter – along with the snow – has finally arrived at Beaver Springs. For now, ONLY 4-Wheel Drive Vehicles and snow vehicles or ATVs will be permitted. NO CARS, LARGE OR CONSTRUCTION VEHICLES ARE PERMITTED.

Please enter at your own risk, using extreme caution and common sense. Temps will be low over the next few days, so there will be icy spots – especially on the Dug Way.

Please continue to watch the website or BSR Facebook page for updates. Full winter restrictions will begin in the near future. When this happens ONLY snow vehicles or ATVs will be permitted on the roads.

Cool Springs Mutual Water Company Winter Reminder

Please be vigilant about leaks on your property, including leaks from your hydrant. These kinds of problems are the responsibility of the individual owners, not Cool Springs Mutual Water Company. If a leak is found on your property, you will be notified, and your water will be turned off.
Also, if you observe a leak on any property in Beaver Springs Ranch, please report it to a member of the Cool Springs Board. Contact information is provided on the BSR website. Thank you for helping to keep our water tanks full, and our energy costs down!

Culvert Maintenance

Over the last few months Karl Lund and Dave Williams have worked throughout the community to repair and clean out many culverts. A company was hired to blowout the culverts that were extremely full. Keeping the culverts clear will help with road maintenance overall and provide drainage for the runoff in the Spring. If you have a culvert at the end of your driveway, please make sure it is always clear and in working order.

The next step in this project is to make sure that culverts are extended in a few places. Escalante Loop, Coulter and down by the corral on Jim Bridger are areas where the road narrows over a culvert. Please be cautious and courteous when driving through these narrow areas.

As long as the weather cooperates work on this large project will continue. If you are interested in volunteering your time to help, please contact the Board or Karl Lund. Thanks to Karl and Dave for making it their mission to keep our roads safe and well maintained!
