Please be vigilant about leaks on your property, including leaks from your hydrant. These kinds of problems are the responsibility of the individual owners, not Cool Springs Mutual Water Company. If a leak is found on your property, you will be notified, and your water will be turned off.
Also, if you observe a leak on any property in Beaver Springs Ranch, please report it to a member of the Cool Springs Board. Contact information is provided on the BSR website. Thank you for helping to keep our water tanks full, and our energy costs down!

Culvert Maintenance
Over the last few months Karl Lund and Dave Williams have worked throughout the community to repair and clean out many culverts. A company was hired to blowout the culverts that were extremely full. Keeping the culverts clear will help with road maintenance overall and provide drainage for the runoff in the Spring. If you have a culvert at the end of your driveway, please make sure it is always clear and in working order.
The next step in this project is to make sure that culverts are extended in a few places. Escalante Loop, Coulter and down by the corral on Jim Bridger are areas where the road narrows over a culvert. Please be cautious and courteous when driving through these narrow areas.
As long as the weather cooperates work on this large project will continue. If you are interested in volunteering your time to help, please contact the Board or Karl Lund. Thanks to Karl and Dave for making it their mission to keep our roads safe and well maintained!
Once again, winter has arrived at Beaver Springs
We’re on “borrowed time” now as far as good weather is concerned. A couple good snowstorms could easily require putting winter restrictions in place with very little notice. We have already had three big and early snow storms this October.
Cabins should now be winterized. If you haven’t yet, please do so ASAP! To help with any potential issues, it is a good idea to shut off your water at the roadside valve marked by the blue-tipped T-post.
With the pending snow storms, winter gate restrictions will be imposed when warranted by road conditions. Once imposed, the winter restrictions sign will be posted on the gate and only snow vehicles will be permitted on BSR roads. Cars, trucks, and 4-wheel drive vehicles will not be permitted until restrictions are lifted in the Spring.

As mentioned, the Board is attempting to create an OPTIONAL community directory of all residents. Below is a link to fill out the form.
Please only fill it out if you wish to be included in the directory. We have learned that other communities use similar directories as a way to communicate in emergencies and help protect pets in the case of a fire.
This directory WILL NOT be posted on our website or social media. It will be emailed out to residents, and everyone is expected to respect our neighbor’s privacy and not share this information with others. If you are not comfortable with this, please do not feel pressured to participate.

2021 Cool Springs Mutual Water Company Meeting and Election Information
Cool Springs Mutual Water Company will not hold an in person meeting this year. An informational letter from the President will be sent to all shareholders in its place. Watch for the President’s Letter and a ballot be which will be sent to you on October 18, 2021.
Our ballot this year will request your input regarding adding and/or changing some text in the Amended Bylaws, Rules and Regulations to allow for posting electronic, notices, and the future use of electronic voting. As well as the election of one board member whose term will end this year, Jim Thomas. Jim has decided to run for re-election.
If you are interested in running for election to the board, please send a short, one paragraph biography to: dfugal@gmail.com, by October 11, 2021, we will include your submission on the ballot.

Dead Carcass Removal
For any resident who has an issue with a dead carcass on their property, please see the information below.
When homeowners discover a dead animal (deer, elk, moose) on their property they should call the Utah Division of Wildlife (DWR) Northern Region main office (801) 476-2740. If needed callers can leave a message stating the address of the carcass and species, as well as their name and number. A DWR technician will get in touch with the caller as soon as possible and discuss removal options.
One thing to note: if an animal is not easily accessible (close to the road, can’t be reached by tow cable) or too large to drag DWR oftentimes won’t be able to get it out. If it is determined that it can be removed DWR technicians are equipped with trucks and winches as well as a dump trailer for larger animals. Please understand that DWR will do everything they can to respond as soon as possible to remove the carcass but it may take 3-5 days.

ATV Accident at BSR
Today there was an ATV accident on Mud Hill/Mckenzie. Our thoughts and prayers go out to those who were injured and their family members.
While we don’t know the exact cause of this accident, it is an important reminder for all residents to slow down, be cautious of blind turns, and wear proper safety gear when riding recreational vehicles.
At this time, we are not sure of the extent of injuries suffered or who was injured. If you are family or friends of the injured, please know we will continue to keep you all in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Water is Back to Regular Use
BSR is back on well water. The Mid Mountain tank is now full and all residents can stop boiling water. Thank you for your cooperation.
