LAST CALL!

Two Open HOA Board Positions

It’s time to vote! The seats currently held by Drue Bunting and Jess Hofberger are open for election. If you are interested in running for one of the two HOA board positions, please send an email by May 1, 2023, to beaverspringsranchassoc@gmail.com with a short bio, your
goals for BSR, and anything else you’d like to share. With your permission, we’ll post this on our social media page. In addition, you will be given an opportunity to talk to the community at the annual meeting and answer any questions from the crowd.

WATER LEAK!!!

Somewhere on the mountain, there is a significant water leak. If you find it, please contact the water board or the HOA board. We can help!

If you are able, please check your cabin. If you are recreating on snow machines, keep your eyes peeled for water where it shouldn’t be.

BEAVER SPRINGS RANCH ASSOCIATION ANNUAL HOA FEES

Invoices for Beaver Springs Ranch were emailed January 30, 2023. If you did not see it, please check your spam folders. If you didn’t get an invoice, please send us a current email address so we can correct it in our records and get an invoice sent to you. If you requested a hard copy, those invoices were mailed February 2, 2023. Please let us know if you have not received your invoice in either format.

Winter Restrictions are STILL in Effect – Please Read!

Winter road restrictions are now in effect. The winter restrictions sign is posted on the gate and only snow vehicles (snowmobiles, snow cats, ATVs, and the like) are permitted on BSR roads. Cars, trucks, and 4-wheel drive vehicles are not permitted until restrictions are lifted in the Spring.

The snow is starting to melt and the roads are really wet and muddy. Unless you really need to get to your cabin or live there, PLEASE wait for a bit until the roads have a chance to dry out. We don’t want to damage them! Thanks!

4-Wheel Drive Vehicles Only

Beaver Springs roads are muddy and soft, but passable. Due to the weather forecast and the snow we have already received, please limit vehicles entering Beaver Springs to 4-wheel drive vehicles. DO NOT bring in construction vehicles, heavy vehicles trailers or large vehicles of any sort! Please use common sense and avoid steep and soft sections if possible.

If you haven’t prepared your cabin for winter, please do so as soon as you possibly can. This weather is a good reminder for all of us to prepare cabins for Winter early in the Fall because we can never predict the weather.

Cool Springs Mutual Water Company Voting

Cool Spring Mutual Water Company will send the 2022 ballot/vote for the Water Board to all eligible
homeowners on Wednesday, September 28, 2022.
There are two candidates who are interested in being elected to the Board of Directors. We have included
the biographical information they provided with the ballot, and we have included this information here as
well.
This year, as discussed, we are conducting the voting via a secure electronic vote. With the assistance of
Angela Arreche-Dohanas, we have prepared the “vote” and here are the rules that apply:

  1. Voting will start on September 28, 2022, and continue until October 9, 2022, at 12:00 pm.
  2. You will be allowed to vote only once per water share, or one vote per email. If you own more than one lot, you will receive an second email.
  3. Since we do have three openings and only two candidates, you are encouraged to use the “write-in” field.
  4. Results of the vote will be presented at the Cool Spring Mutual Water Company meeting on October 22, 2022.

Thank you and Happy Voting!!!

PS: We have had no requests for a hard copy ballot, if this is something you or someone you know may need, please let me know asap.

Bio information for candidates for Cool Springs Mutual Water Company board member:

Jay Judkin
I am currently on the cool springs water board i have served on the board for 4 years doing the water testing and sampling. My wife Diane and I have been a Beaver Springs Resident since 2014.

I would appreciate your vote to remain on the board.
Thanks
Jay Judkin

Dayne Raff
The Raff family enjoyed a cabin on Escalante for 13 years before purchasing the Stevenson’s home in 2019. Dayne and Sally made the leap of faith when they sold their home in Lehi and moved to BSR
fulltime in June of 2021. We love living on the mountain with all that entails and are here to stay!

Dayne has enjoyed various positions in Management and Finance in corporate America throughout his career. Seeking a change of pace, he now delivers concrete for Jack B Parson.

We know water is the life blood of the mountain. We are deeply indebted to the board and the visionary people of the last generation who installed one of the best water systems on the mountain! We are uniquely blessed to have the water we have. Let’s all do our part to ensure the future of this precious resource.

Cool Springs Mutual Water Company will hold the annual meeting on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 5:00 pm at the Oakley City Hall,
960 North Center Street, Oakley, Utah.
Please plan to join us for the meeting.

BOARD MEMBERS

Cool Springs Mutual Water Company is looking for 3 board members. If you are interested, please email dfugal@gmail.com by September 19, 2022.

ELECTRONIC VOTING

This year the process for voting for our new board members will be via electronic voting.

Last year we indicated we agreed to this method of voting to save mailing costs. The voting will start on Wednesday
September 28, 2022 and will be open for ten (10 days), closing on Saturday, October 8, 2022.

Notices will be posted on the Beaver Springs website, and the two Facebook pages, with the candidate bio information prior to voting, and we are hoping to include the bio information in the voting link.

An email will be sent to each water share owner on September 28 with information to the voting link.

Completing the vote on 10/8/2022 will allow us to do two things:
1) Announce the new board members at the October 22nd meeting
2) Give the new Board Members an opportunity to meeting with the entire Cool Springs Water Board directly after the annual meeting for a short time.

If you, have concerns with this method of electronic voting, please let us know prior to September 21st so we can obtain an email from you or work out another way to communicate with you. You can contact
Debbi Fugal at 435-640-0376 (leave a message please) or at dfugal@gmail.com.
