We have finished wood chipping for the year! If you have wood you wanted taken care of, please carry it out or use it for firewood through the winter.
Thank you for all who donated their time to help with this major project! The mountain looks great!
If you are trimming bushes and cutting branches along the roads, please throw the debris off the road or onto the hillside and not in our culverts and ditches along the roads. Debris in our culverts and ditches will create problems with rain and in the fall.
We spoke with DNR and unfortunately, they do not have enough employees to provide chipping again this year. We are looking into viable solutions. In the meantime please make sure your wood piles are NOT blocking any culverts.
Also, if you are in need of firewood, please help out by taking wood piled by the road. DO NOT venture into the property but restrict yourself to the wood by the road.
We will keep you posted on a solution to the wood chipping in the fall.
Jess Hofberger, BSR President, talked with DWR yesterday (7/6/2023) and they asked us to post the following information.
DWR believes that any bear in the area will leave in the next couple weeks, if their “easy” food sources are removed. Please report bear sightings at 801.538.4700, only in the following circumstances:
If the issue doesn’t resolve itself in the next couple weeks, the situation will be reevaluated.
Now that the roads have been grated, it is possible some of the culverts at the bottom of your drives have been inadvertently filled. If so, please clear them. If you need help, please let the board know and we will come help. Thank you!
The roads are MOSTLY dry. However, there are still some muddy areas, so please be careful and respectful.
Be aware that erosion has occurred in multiple areas. Proceed cautiously. Repairs will be made in turn.
Also, please no recreating until the roads are COMPLETELY DRY.

Does anyone know this person? He was caught on camera coming out from under a cabin deck in the upper Escalante area. He was using trekking poles. No idea why he would be that far in the property and why he is under someone’s cabin! If you have any information, please send an email to beaverspringsranchassoc@gmail.com. Thanks!
