There are three (3) positions on the Board of Directors to be filled in 2020. Ballots are being e-mailed (via a survey from SurveyMonkey) today to those who have e-mail addresses on record with the Association. Paper ballots are being mailed to those whom we do not have an e-mail address. Please follow the instructions given in your ballot to vote. Only one ballot per Association Member.

Alicia O’Meara

Hi my name is Alicia O’Meara and for some of you that don’t know me, I have had my cabin property since 2006. Now I spend most of my time there which makes it easy for me to address issues on property. I have been on the Beavers Springs Ranch board for the past term. My position on the board has been Treasurer. I worked closely with Jim Stevenson transitioning to a modernized online accounting system and Beaver Springs Ranch HOA is online and working well. I would like to continue streamlining this process as to better serve our members. Sincerely, Alicia.

Angela Dohanos

My family and I have lived here full time since October 2015 – yes, you counted right – 5 winters! We moved from Salt Lake City, but we are originally from Northern Ohio. We live at Rancheros Lot 20 or 6396 Escalante. I am a librarian at the Park City Library. My husband, Dan, is a carpenter in Francis at Uinta Cabinet. We have 3 children – Chloe (16, next month), Andrew (5.5) and Jay (3.5). We have two cats, Maya and Oliver, and two huskies, Oakley and Sunny. The dogs are friendly (even if they bark sometimes) and they are contained by an electric fence. Like many of you, we are working on a million projects at our house. We love being outdoors, and you might see us hiking or by the river. Since we (usually) work full time or have obligations for the kids we are often on the go. I have been on the HOA Board for the past two years, and helped with the install of the automatic gate. I love being involved in the community and helping to improve our neighborhood!

Dave Williams

I was born in 1964, when I was 2 weeks old my Grandparents with help from my parents, aunts, and uncles started to build our family cabin. I spent most of my weekends and holidays (year round) at our family cabin for most of my 56 years.

I have been a professional mechanic since the early 1980’s. In 1993 I started my own business and enjoyed providing a needed service to the public. In 2019 after much thought decided to move on to other business opportunities.

Now I have a little extra time to give to the mountain I enjoy so much.

Kohnie Jensen

My parents purchased our property in 1971. It was my favorite place to go growing up. After they passed, my sister and I retained the property wanting the memories to be passed down through generations. It is still my favorite place to go. I was an educator in Jordan School District for 29 years and one year in Cedar City. My specialty, Mathematics. I served in various positions throughout the years including Department Chairperson and Data Specialist. I also worked closely with the district math consultant developing materials and writing a resource book for the new standards, launched in 2013. After 30 years, I retired from education and worked for Independent Eye Care Professionals with accounts receivable, their rebate program, and individuals and group billings, and distributed funds to states throughout the country. After three years I returned to the classroom. I now teach closer to home at Olympus High in Granite School District. Returning to education was a great decision; I love the classroom and my students. It also frees me up to “head for the hills” on a more regular basis. I love the relationships on the mountain and want to help preserve that heritage.

The BSR Annual Meeting is scheduled for Monday, May 11, 2020, beginning at 7:00 PM. Due to restrictions for COVID-19, the Board has decided unanimously to hold the meeting online with access also available via phone. Details for connecting to the meeting will be announced as soon as we know them.

Three board positions are open for election. Voting will be conducted electronically for those whom we have an e-mail address, and will be by mail-in ballot for those whom we do not have an e-mail address.

Packets of the meeting announcement, details for connecting to the meeting, and how to vote will be distributed in the next week or two. We wanted to get the word out ASAP that our meeting will not be in-person this year due.

We are planning to have a recording of the meeting available within a few days after the meeting.

The BSR Annual Meeting is currently scheduled for Monday, May 11, 2020, beginning at 7:00 PM. Meeting location is the same as last year: Murray Library, 166 East 5300 South, Murray, Utah.

In case the group restrictions currently imposed for COVID-19 are still in effect in May, we are considering ways we can hold the meeting via tele/videoconference.

We have been notified from UWCPOA that they are postponing their annual meeting which was to be held this Monday @7:00. We will add the new meeting info when we know it.
