FIRE RESTRICTION ORDER

Due to current and forecasted weather conditions coupled with the extremely dry conditions in northeastern Utah, the State Forester, in consultation with the Summit County Commission, has determined that measures must be taken to prevent the ignition of forest and rangeland fires. Fire danger is extreme; therefore, pursuant to Utah State Law, Section 65A-8-212, the following acts are prohibited in the areas described below until rescinded by the Utah State Forester:

This includes discharging or using any kind of fireworks, tracer ammunition or other pyrotechnic devices
including exploding targets.

PLEASE keep our mountain safe!

LIMITED ROAD USE

Even though the road are open, we are asking that people DO NOT recreate on them yet! Many roads are still quite muddy and be, until the snow has melted off the hillsides. Recreating at this time damages the roads and will then require more repair then necessary. Remember there are still many areas that may require 4-wheel drive to access.

PLEASE be mindful, considerate, and limit your road usage at this time.
